What is an RFP?
Request For Proposal - This is how a donor announces and solicits proposals
for a grant opportunity. By posting an RFP, the donor is asking for proposals they can review
and consider funding.
What is a Proposal?
A proposal is a formal application to receive funds from a donor offering a grant opportunity.
Does GrantAnalyst.com grant any money?
No. GrantAnalyst.com serves to facilitate the grant process between grantmakers and grant recipients
and is not in a position to provide direct grants.
I'm not a nonprofit organization...Can I appy for a grant?
Right now, GrantAnalyst.com is built to serve the nonprofit grantmaking community and not
individuals. Understandably there are plenty of people in need and our recommendation
is to make your appeal to nonprofit organizations in your community. In the future, if we have grantmakers
specifically interested in funding individuals, we will build this capability, but for now, we
only handle grants to existing nonprofit organizations.
How do I find grant opportunities to apply for?
'Find Grants' in the menu at the top of this page will display all of the current opportunities available.
How many grants can I apply for with one proposal?
You can apply for grants from as many donors as you wish with the same data, however, each proposal is
considered individually and will require individual submission.
Can I make changes to my RFP/Proposal after I've activated it?
Yes. You can make all the changes you want until the deadline arrives. You will not be charged
for making changes. When the deadline arrives, your data will be final and submitted in whatever
condition you leave it.
Does GrantAnalyst.com collect my credit card information?
No. All payments are made through PayPal, a secure online transaction service.
Does GrantAnalyst.com sell my information to anyone?
No. In the case of proposals, GrantAnalyst.com will only submit your information to the donor that posted the RFP
you are applying for. In the case of RFPs, GrantAnalyst.com will make
the grant opportunity available to all users
of this site, but will not make the information available in other forms.
How long will my account be active?
Your account will be active as long as you are. Deactivation will only occur after a prolonged and
significant period of inactivity (generally over a year).
Can I get help analyzing the data I get from GrantAnalyst.com?
Yes. Contact us at info@grantanalyst.com with your specific request and we will accommodate you as best we can.

How do I find the grant opportunity (RFP)/donor I'm looking for?
'Find Grants' in the menu at the top of this page will display all of the current opportunities available.
If you don't see the one there that you are looking for, contact the donor/foundation and tell
them that you want to apply for their grant using GrantAnalyst.com. You can also send us their
contact information and we will contact them as well.
Who makes the grant award decisions?
The donor makes all grant award decisions. GrantAnalyst.com will only participate in this part
of the process on a consulting basis in support of the donor and will not make final funding decisions.
How do I find out if I win a grant award?
Donors are responsible for all notification. GrantAnalyst.com
does not give award notification. Occasionally, donors will elect to use an anonymous 'Decline
Letter' feature that GrantAnalyst.com offers, but the decision is made by the donor.
How do I get funded if I am selected for a grant award?
The donor will notify you of a grant award and the specific process for funding.
How do I activate my Proposal/RFP?
Your proposal/RFP will become 'Active' once we have received and processed your payment.
This will be done automatically if you use PayPal's services. To arrange payment, choose the 'Activate'
link next to your proposal/RFP.

How much does this cost?
The one-time application fee for submitting a proposal is $39 for the first ten proposals you submit. After
that, the price drops to $29 each for the next ten proposals. The application fee becomes $19 for every proposal you submit after the first twenty.
These volume discounts will apply to all proposals you submit during a calendar year.
Occasionally a grantmaker will offer to sponsor your proposal, meaning that they will pay your
application fee for you, and you will not be charged this fee. The grantmaker will make this known to you
if they choose to offer this feature. GrantAnalyst.com will not notify you of the availability of any sponsorships.
If you are a grantmaker, take a look at our pricing plans for more details.

a credit card or an echeck (electronic check drawn on your checking account). At no time will GrantAnalyst.com
collect account numbers associated with payments, keeping your information secure. You may also choose to print an invoice
and mail a paper check with a copy of the invoice to GrantAnalyst.com.
